A full time 40 hours per week, 10 month academic year Prep Service Attendant position reporting to the Associate Manager-Paresky is available. The initial schedule will be Saturday – Wednesday from 6 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. with Thursdays and Fridays off. Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the department.
Working under the daily supervision of the Associate Manager and Assistant Manager, will be responsible high volume sandwich preparation, pizza preparation and cooking, cold food production, presentation/garnish, labeling, ID checking, cash handling, and appropriate customer service. Specific duties include preparing individual menu items for customer orders; sanitizing equipment, food preparation and customer service areas; restocking inventories as needed; and assisting in opening/closing the food production and dining areas.
The successful applicant should be enthusiastic, energetic and possess strong customer service skills. Knowledge and ability to work in a kitchen environment, use basic math skills, handle a flexible schedule, stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects required. The ability to relate to customers and staff in a professional manner is essential. Kitchen experience and general knowledge of food service preferred.
