- Soliciting New Members: On September 21st, Martha will circulate the memo calling for nominations of new members. The draft memo was reviewed by council members for edits and additions. All submission will be submitted to Janice Evans; the deadline for nominations is October 3rd.
- The role of Staff Council: Steve Klass met with Council to discuss possible avenues for expanding the role and visibility of the Council on campus. With the ongoing communication challenges, Steve plans to utilize the Staff Council more frequently as an indicator of campus climate as they are a broad representation of staff with diverse experiences. The discussion continued about communications strategies and the need for transparency. Suggested tactics included Staff Council brown bag lunches, promoting meeting minutes in daily message, SC website link in our email signatures and cross referencing to the VP for Operations website.
- Staff Council as an advisory committee: It was proposed that Staff Council be renamed Staff Advisory Council to more accurately describe the functions of the committee.

I love color and arts and crafts, and I can listen to songs over and over without ever getting tired of them. My goal for my time at Williams is to be 1 in 2000 in The Record. I want to be an architect someday and build skyscrapers. I want to explore.
