Students

All students who completed Payroll Forms have the opportunity to work on campus, unless restricted by certain visa status. Hiring priority is first given to students on financial aid whose package includes Campus Employment (which may or may not be Federal Work Study – learn about it here) on financial aid awards.

First-Year students, please go here first!, and then review resources below.

YOUR BIGGEST RESOURCES:

Student Employment Guidelines

  • This is the rule book. If you’re working or planning on working for the college, or through a college program, like FWS, you should be familiar with this. Also, if you’ve looked everywhere else and can’t find an answer, this most likely has it.

PeopleSoft Help

  • The Student Information System is hugely powerful, but not always the most intuitive to navigate. This will explain what information PeopleSoft offers from  a student employment perspective, and how to use it to your advantage.
