+1Network Workshop: Career Decisions in Action (8/28)

Wednesday August 28

9 to 11am

Riley Room (Weston Athletic Complex)

Are you facing a fork in the road for your career?  Using techniques adapted from drama therapy, in this experiential workshop you’ll have the opportunity to experience in action what may be down both roads.  You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from other participants’ experiences and find out more about what you have in common.   Through this supportive, confidential exploration you’ll be able to find the decision that feels most congruent with who you are at your core.

This workshop is ideal for anyone at a transition point (whatever the circumstances), rethinking their professional life, or trying to choose a direction.

Facilitators:

Kevin Thomas, M.A.., is the Learning and Development Manager at Williams. His programs, from book discussions to campus-wide workshops, center on increasing communication and collaboration, as well as supporting productivity, diversity, supervision, management, and leadership.

Sonora Thomas, M.A., LMHC is a local therapist in private practice who holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Lesley University and was a graduate fellow at the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy.  She has extensive training in mind/body therapies including the Alexander Technique and Self Regulation Therapy.
