Institutionally the times that we are living in are unparalleled in many respects, filled with more challenges given our day to day demands matched with the times under the umbrella of COVID. In this facilitation, supervisors will share space delving into the complexities of their personal experiences navigating challenges during this time, creating tips for greater community building, and support based structures. Modeled through an intergroup dialogue framework, this program will ask supervisors to reflect about the ways in which they have come to understand their roles.
About the Presenter:
Drea Finley joined the college in April as our Dialogue Facilitator in the Office of Institutional Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Drea is a trained intergroup dialogue facilitator and specializes in social justice advocacy within the intersections of race, class, gender, sexuality, and spirituality. As a community organizer Drea serves on the town’s newly formed Diversity, Inclusion, and Racial, Equity (DIRE) Committee. In their spare time, Drea enjoys writing music and spoken word poetry.
This program is part of the Supervisory Training Series.
As we want to encourage open dialogue between managers, registration will be limited so that no participant will have a reporting relationship with any other participant. This will be managed on a first-come sign up basis. You will receive a calendar invitation with the Zoom link for the session, when confirmed.
