Join us as we delve into the topic of continuous performance management.  The purpose of this three-part program is to provide a resource to help implement a performance management plan for employees in support of accomplishing the strategic objectives of the department/organization.

  • In March, we will begin by discussing an evaluation process that includes regular communications, employee feedback, and an approach to clearly define priorities using SMART goals.
  • In April, we will move on to coaching as an approach to the continuing process that includes ways to be more collaborative as opposed to being directive in day-to-day conversations with staff.
  • Finally, in May, we will review best practices for dealing with performance problems.
