Wellbeing at Williams is excited to offer in-person Pilates classes for Spring 2022! Join us for a 9 week session of Pilates led by local instructor, Carol Bentz, on Thursdays, March 17th through May 12th, 4:00 – 5:00pm, in Goodrich Room 207.
Pilates is a system of repetitive exercises performed on a mat to promote strength, stability, and flexibility. Pilates exercises develop the body through muscular effort that stems from the core. The technique cultivates awareness of the body to support everyday movements and improve posture and balance.
We suggest that participants only register if they can commit to 9 sessions but substitutions will be considered. We cannot accommodate walk-ins at this time. Space is limited to 15 people. No experience necessary.
All participants must abide by the college’s current Covid policy. At this time the sessions are limited to employees only.
Classes are free, registration is required, and is not part of the wellness incentive. New mats will be provided to all participants.
