New Staff Performance Development Process in Workday Coming January 2025

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new staff Performance Development Process in Workday. This long-awaited solution replaces our previously paper-driven approach, bringing efficiency, consistency, and transparency to managing performance across the institution.

What’s New?

  • Timing: Staff reviews will be completed annually between January 1st and March 31st, reviewing the performance of the prior calendar year. 
  • Forms: Two forms, Operational & Administrative, both with competency ratings & comments, narrative feedback, and goal-setting. The appropriate form will be assigned to you in Workday based on your job profile.
  • Rating Scale: Moving to a five-point scale to provide more flexibility and nuance.
  • Calculated Overall Rating: Analyzing overall ratings plays a crucial role in benchmarking across teams, detecting patterns of discrepancies, and mitigating bias.
  • Workflow: Tasks flow seamlessly from one step to the next without delays, saving time for more meaningful conversations.
