Most supervisors know they ought to be delegating more, but they have their doubts about whether they will be able to assign work with a reasonable assurance of getting the job done right and on time. There is more to delegation than meets the eye. In this program, we’ll look at both the technical and the interpersonal factors that can help or hinder you in getting the results you want from your staff. You’ll come away with proven methods for assigning work and ensuring its completion, and you’ll have a chance to get help from supervisors across Williams that face similar challenges.
The program will include some information about special considerations for delegating to virtual teams.
This program is part of the Supervisory Training Series.
