When we can’t easily lay our hands on what we need – that email about the new project, the flyer about the film series, notes from last month’s meeting – our flow is disturbed. Getting your environment – both physical and virtual — in sync with your needs and how you think re-establishes the flow. This hands-on class will jump-start a system for information storage/retrieval using the 4-step Straighten Up strategy. You’ll not only see the strategy demonstrated, but also have an opportunity, using your own material, to seed a system tailored specifically to you. If you like, bring an inch of unsorted miscellaneous papers for real-time practice. There will also be opportunities for at-the-desk consultations after the session.
