Mount Hope Discovery (9/17)

Thursday September 17, 4 pm

Have you ever wondered about Mount Hope Farm when you pass the two entrances along Route 43?

In the late 1930’s and 40’s, Mount Hope Farm was considered a leading experimental farm in the country and made contributions to agricultural genetics. The farm, and the 72 room Elm Tree mansion on the property, were financed by some of the deepest pockets in the US at the time (think Rockefeller fortunes).

Join us outside the mansion to learn more about the estate from Patrick Quinn, a board member from the Williamstown Historical Museum who grew up in town when the farm was still in use.

We will socially distance and wear masks as needed. Kids are welcome. Really bad weather will cancel the gathering until we can reschedule.
