Fitness Challenge FAQ

  • The ahealthyme Activity Challenge requires participants to log 600 or 900 moderate exercise minutes (an average of 150 per week) over the course of 4 or 6 weeks to successfully complete this challenge. For details visit

  • You must log your exercise minutes on or on the HealthyNow app to be counted toward the challenge goal.

  • The ahealthyme Nutrition Challenge requires participants to log two servings of fruits and two servings of vegetables per day for a total of 16 days over the course of the 4-week challenge at

  • All Challenges are for individuals - to allow everyone the chance to enter the raffle if they complete the requirements.  

  • Active BCBS subscribers who meet the challenge requirements will earn a one-time payment of $100, less applicable taxes. In addition, all active subscribers who complete the requirements will be entered into a raffle for a $25 Amazon gift card (taxable). You will only be eligible to receive the $100 for one challenge each year.

  • Any active employee who is enrolled in Williams’ health insurance plan is eligible to participate. However, only the subscriber will be eligible for the $100 incentive.

  • Yes, there will be a total of four challenges offered in 2019. You will only be eligible to receive the $100 for one challenge. However, you will be eligible for the raffle for each challenge.

  • Challenges will occur:

    • Spring Activity Challenge: 4/8 - 5/20
    • Summer Activity Challenge: 7/22 - 8/19
    • Fall Activity Challenge: 9/16 - 10/28
    • Winter Nutrition Challenge: 11/18 - 12/16
  • To sign up, log in to Click on the Sign Up button in the Challenge Widget and enter your name. You can register for the challenge starting the week before the challenge begins through the first week of the challenge.

    • Download the HealthyNow app at
    • Click the “Activate the HealthyNow app” button on the homepage for instructions and to get your personal access code to start the download process on your phone.
    • Once you’ve downloaded the app, you can view your progress in the challenge.
    • Launch the app and click on “Challenges” to view the progress bar.
